Ok Go has a very cool Rube Goldberg style video for the new single “This Too Shall Pass”

I can respect a man with sideburns

Ok Go

I like Ok Go, they create catchy tunes in a simple pop rock style just like Fountains of Wayne or maybe a more cleaned up Weezer (the Cars sans synth anybody?). But I don’t think they have the popularity they should garner; everybody knows them for their music videos (one of which they have won an award for). Well they’re back with a new album and a new video (actually the second one) to promote their first single, “This Too Shall Pass.”

First they made cliche rock vids. Next they were dancing. Then they were dancing on treadmills. Then a marching band? Now, they’re mad scientists in a Rube Goldberg dream (although there might be some clever camera tricks in there as well…i’m not sure). Enjoy!

Also here’s the video for “WTF” from the new album Of The Blue Colour of The Sky

If you haven’t seen the marching band clip or any of their old videos, I included a couple after the jump.
