YDP sees Paul McCartney!

21 Jul

YDP is on the 7 train en route to see Sir Paul. Yes the Godfather, Pimp and Supreme ruler of music. As a warning I am posting now because I might not have the balls to review a Beatle. I am amazed by the number of incredible songs he won’t have time to play. Here’s my stop!
Also notable first blog post with the WordPress Iphone app…that’s what’s up

Update: While reviewing Paul McCartney is way above YPD’s pay grade (its zero but whose counting). YDP will make a couple comments/observations:

  • The man still has it: voice, intangibles, enthusiasm, that je ne sais quois, and of course the ability to make girls scream
  • He played for 2 and a half hours: 2 hours straight followed by a brief walk off stage followed by 2 encores
  • It was great to see him genuinely enjoying himself up there

edit. I’m not a stickler for proper spelling/grammar, but spell McCartney right next time you chode muffin. i dont know these people . Smiley faces and push pops – tksama

Its true. My progressive elementary school preached “inventive spelling” where however you wanted to spell a word was the right way. Early on I was writing a letter to my Aunt Emily and I spelled it “MLE.” I rock.
